Miami/OKC Game 4

2-1 in the finals with the under easily coming through in game 3.

Game 4 is relatively easy to pick. If you are like me and think OKC will win the series then you are no doubt taking them in game 4 +3.5 and might as well take them on the money line. If you are in Miami's camp then you should take the Heat.

Here is why I like the Thunder. They have not played their best game yet. They have let Miami dictate with their defense how the Thunder's offense has run. I give Miami a lot of credit for their defense but it is time for OKC to assert themselves on offense and have much better ball movement and start to get points in the paint.

Defensively, the Thunder have fouled way too much and will be focused on playing solid defense and not let Miami get to the line as much as games 2 & 3.

Take the 3.5 points and if you are feeling confident, take the under as well. I like OKC to win an ugly game and get back into the series.

Miami/OKC Game 3

1-1 so far against the number losing on Thursday by a half point. I was happy to have had a chance as OKC really struggled offensively and it took another huge Durant effort to even make it close.

Looking at game 3 I am going with the under 194.5.

This will be the first really stressful game for both teams. Miami knows they need the win and OKC knows they gave game 2 away and could have had firm control of the series.

Miami made a nice adjustment in game 2 and played much better defense by making the conscious effort to get in front of OKC and make their path to the hoop more difficult.

I expect OKC to make a similar adjustment as both teams focus on defense especially to start the game tonight.

The winner will be a tossup, I give a slight edge to Miami.   I like the game to firmly go under the 194.5

NBA Finals Game 2

OK- was on the money in game one.

Late pick for Game 2. Take the over 196.5

Look for both teams to attack the rim and gets lots of foul attempts. Miami has a good chance to get the win but the over is the way to go in this one.

Miami vs Oklahoma City Series and Game 1

What has been a great NBA playoffs ends with a great matchup between the two marquee teams.

In my earlier post, I did predict that Miami would get to the finals only to come up short against either the Spurs or Thunder.

Now that the heat have arrived, I am still sticking with OKC to win the series and be crowned champions.

Although, this should be a pretty close series, Miami's weakness from a year ago that was not properly addressed will be the difference in this one. Miami does not have enough toughness on the inside to rebound and play strong interior defense consistently over a seven game series.

Also, I do like the coaching matchup to go in OKC's favor. Both coaches do a good job but Scott Brooks has made the adjustments needed for his team. Spoelstra on the other hand has let his players make the difference but in this matchup game to game coaching adjustments will be important.

Finally, I really thought Vegas would make Miami the series favorite but they put OKC out as a solid favorite to win the title. That is a big sign in my opinion as well.

My main concern for OKC is their point guard Westbrook. He is very talented but sometimes tries to take the game over unnecessarily. If he plays under control and limits turnovers then OKC will be in good shape.

I like OKC to win in six.

Game 1- I like OKC to come out and control the boards and limit Miami's fast break offense. The game may go over but i want to see game 1 before picking a total but I do like OKC to cover the 5 and put the pressure on Lebron and company immediately.
