Targeting 23 & 25 Feb Update
Here are some updates on the games I am targeting for Feb 23 & 25
Feb 23
Cleveland St/Detroit- Cleveland St dropped 2 games against Valpo and Butler. Of note, Cleve St scored in the 40's both games which is not their style with poor shooting in both games.
South Alabama/Fla Atl- Both teams won their games this week and looked good in doing so.
Milwaukee/UIC- Both teams lost on Thursday, UIC looking pretty bad in the process.
Oakland/UMKC- Big win the other day for UMKC. Oakland has been on scoring tear again.
Wisconsin/Iowa- Nothing of note here so far.
BYU/Gonzaga- Gonzaga got a big revenge win against St Mary's and will have revenge against BYU...hmmm.

Feb 25
Creighton/Indiana St- Two headlines, Creighton all of sudden struggling and Indiana St hitting all their 3's.
Drake/Wichita St- Drake followed their big upset win vs Wichita St with 3 straight losses. Meanwhile WSU has won their games since losing to Drake and crushed Creighton.
Providence/Depaul- Both teams continue to get their brains beat in by Big East competition.
Saint Louis/Rhode Island- Nothing of note.
Missouri St/Evansville- Big win for the Purple Aces against Creighton. See if it is a catalyst to a strong finish.
Missouri/Kansas- Will be the marquee matchup of the day. Both teams shredded Baylor.
Boise St/Wyoming- Big win for Wyoming against unlv only to be followed by an ugly loss against NM. Shaping up to be a must win for Wyoming.
Miss St/Bama- Nothing of note
Northwestern/Penn St- NU seems to be peaking with some tough games ahead.
Cal Poly/UCSB- Interesting scheduling heading into this game. This game will be the 3rd straight road game for Cal Poly while UCSB will be returning home after 7 of 8 on road.

Targeting Feb 23 and 25
I have decided to look at moving this blog into the real world and start tweeting, retweeting, facebooking, etc and trying to go to the next level.
So I will be updating the site and getting that set up.
In the meantime, got a Vegas trip on the horizon. As many of you know, it is something of a letdown to go to Vegas from the sportsbook point of view. The internet sites have many more options and games than most of the sportsbooks. Nevertheless Vegas has great appeal and is well worth the trip.
To get ready for the trip, I have picked 6 games for Thursday 2/23 and 10 for Saturday 2/25 to study and look to dominate those sides.
For the next couple of of weeks I will be tracking them and gathering info. Feel free to help me out by sending me any thoughts on the teams leading to their games.
If I have any 5 star picks, I will post them otherwise will be tracking these games.

NBA & NCAA 1/24
On a bit of slide however will press on.
NBA Top Pick
Miami -13.5 vs Cleveland- Miami is coming off a loss and Cleveland is downright bad. Should be a blowout.
NCAA Top Pick
Wyoming -2 vs SD St- This game started at a pick and I thought the money would jump on the Aztecs. However the big money is going on the Cowboys and I am joining. I like the under 123 in a parlay as well.

NBA & NCAA 1/23
A couple of west coast games tonight.
NBA Lean
Golden St -2.5 vs Memphis- Golden St has played well at home and getting past some early injuries. Close game but the Warriors will get the win and cover
NCAA Lean
Santa Clara/Loyola Marymount over 149.5- Both teams like the up tempo game and neither puts a high premium on defense so average or better shooting pushes this game over easily.

NBA & NCAA 1/19
Mixed bag last night- some small plays today.
All Leans:
NBA
LA +5.5 vs Miami- Like Laker's size in this one to exploit Miami's lack of quality big men.
Utah -2.5 vs Dallas- Utah has been red hot at home.
NCAA
Oregon/USC under 113.5- the total is this low for a reason.
Illinois -2.5 vs Penn St- I think Ill is ready to step up and get a road big 10 win.

NCAA Hoops 1/18
Action for tonight:
Top Picks:
New Miexico -8.5 vs San Diego St
Missouri St +1 vs Creighton
Lean:
Villanova +1 vs Seton Hall
Writeups:
New Mexico has been flying under the radar and has a talented squad. SD St is coming off an emotional win and will be in let down mode in a tough road environment and will fall hard in this one.
Missouri St- seemingly always on the wrong side of the bubble, a 2nd win against Creighton will help them tremendously. I like them to get it done at home.
Villanova- Struggling so far this year but always tough at home. Seton Hall has been solid but winning on the road in the Big East is difficult and I don't think the Pirates are up to the task in this spot.
